What is recorded here

The mound in Tullymacreeve may conceal a megalithic tomb, though no chamber has been opened to prove it. It belongs to the uncertain prehistoric period when people shaped earth and stone before written memory existed. The possibility of buried chambers gives the mound more life than a plain earth heap. Someone may have carried a dead person into darkness beneath that grass, then walked home under an open sky.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as MOUND, possibly MEGALITHIC TOMB. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN; PREHISTORIC. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
