In undulating grassland immediately W of a modern house. A well-preserved circular mound of earth and stone (D 25.8m, max. H 2.4m at S). The centre is dished and there is an 'entrance-like' gap (Wth 1.5m) at E, giving the monument a barrow-like appearance. However, these features may in part be the result of quarrying. Neolithic passage tomb, dating to approximately 3500–2500 BCE. Its well-preserved structure and entrance-like feature indicate ceremonial or funerary significance, typical of Neolithic burial practices in Ireland.
