Mound in Cullenwaine — Report the wrong picture

Cullenwaine in County Offaly holds a flat topped rubble mound beside a known tower house and bawn. The mound may be the remains of a tower or windmill, yet it never appeared on any edition of the six inch OS maps. It is the kind of place that could have turned sails, stored grain or simply swallowed the names of the people who built it.

On flat land in undulating countryside. Flat topped mound of rubble material which may be the remains of a tower\windmill associated with the nearby tower house and bawn (OF046-008----).
