Mound in Barnaboy

Situated in an upland area. A circular earthen mound (diam. c. 15.7m, H c. 6.8m). Neolithic passage tomb; dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (c. 3700–3000 BCE). It represents a significant example of early ceremonial and burial architecture in the upland landscapes of Ireland.
