Death and memory still breathe through the soft soil of Gleann Mór. The mound lies beside a wedge tomb and standing stone, suggesting a whole valley of ancestors rather than a lonely heap of dirt. Its modest height does not diminish its purpose, for it marks the boundary between the living field and the dead.

A grass-grown earthen mound situated in rough, fairly marshy land on the S side of Gleann Mór. A wedge tomb, standing stone, possible early field system and other unclassified sites occur in the same valley (KE042-132----).
