MOTTE (or Raised Rath?)

What is recorded here

Motte and castle in Dunamuggy, County Antrim. Whether Norman motte or older raised rath, the hilltop earthworks still stand. Steel towers may have fallen, but the shape remains: a small mountain made by hands, watching the valley below.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as MOTTE (or Raised Rath?). Recorded period: E.CHRIST.; MEDIEVAL; UNCERTAIN. Recorded protection: Scheduled. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
