Barginnis Mount rises in Ballymather Upper as a medieval motte, still scheduled and visible beneath the living land. Its name resists easy translation, but the earth remembers the shape of human ambition. A tower, camp or warning fire may have stood there before memory faded. The hill keeps what tongues forgot.
