What is recorded here
Staghreel in Tyrella South wears a modern church above a pre-Norman foundation, proving that Christian worship and local memory still occupy the same soil. The building may be new, but the choice of ground is ancient. People may have kept returning to that spot because it felt sacred long before stone walls rose there. Faith and history are layered rather than replaced.
