In level pasture. Rectangular area (c. 30m NNW-SSE; c. 25m ENE-WSW) enclosed by two earthen banks (inner bank: int. H 0.4m, ext. H 1.4m to base of fosse; outer bank: int. H 1.6m to base of fosse, ext. H 0.9m) with intervening fosse; barely perceptible trace of external fosse on ENE side. Intervening fosse waterlogged. Site heavily overgrown; interior inaccessible. Bank at NW corner noticeably higher. Listed by Barry (1981, 83, no. 63). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
