What is recorded here

Aerial photograph (GB90.BL.33) shows cropmark of a rectangular enclosure defined by a fosse with an entrance facing north-west, with an associated road and field system. First recorded as a positive cropmark in July 1990. Classification as a potential moated site probably better than relegating this monument to the amorphous category of Enclosure? Part of an extensive cropmark landscape. The above report has been compiled by Dr. G.F. Barrett and supplied to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
