Situated on high ground in upland area. Roughly rectangular shaped area (dims. 34m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; max. ext. H 2.5m) , external fosse (Wth 3m; ext. D 0.5m) best preserved at E with stone lined causewayed entrance (Wth 3m) at E. In the centre of the interior there is a flat topped mound (top diam 3m; base diam 6.5m; H 0.5m) directly opposite the entrance.
