In low-lying level pasture. Trapezoidal area (44m NNE-SSW; 37m E-W) defined by an internal earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1m) NE->NW with fosse (Base Wth. 3.5m). External bank (int. H 0.70m; ext. H 0.30m) SE->NW. Gaps in internal external bank at NW (Wth. 1.8m) and WSW (Wth. 1.5m). Possible leat links to fosse at SE; possible leat along external base of external bank SE->S links to moat at SE (both leats D c. 0.2m; Base Wth. c. 2m).
