What is recorded here

Glennaslat holds a square moated site forty-three metres across, marked by two earthen banks and a water-cut ditch now hidden beneath grass and trees. The inner bank remains visible all round while the outer bank breaks at the east and west, suggesting entrances or later damage. A field wall cuts across the monument and a rath waits nearby, tying the place to a longer human presence. The geometry is clear even when the history is not.

In undulating grassland. This moated site (43m N-S; 43m E-W), square in plan, is defined by two earthen banks and an intervening fosse. The banks are overgrown with trees. The inner bank (Wth at top 1.5m; int. H 0.97m; ext. H 1.1m) is visible all round and the fosse (Wth 1.9m) survives apart from E to SE. The outer bank (int. H 0.9m) is present from SE through S to NW and from NE to E. Gaps occur at E and W; the latter may be modern. A N-S running field wall cuts across the monument at NNW and SSW.
