In level pasture. Square area (c. 30m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.5m) with external fosse (D 1m). Bank highest at four corners; entrance (Wth 3m) midway along SE side. Enclosure densely overgrown and consequently inaccessible. Listed by Barry (1981, 82, no. 22). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
