Remains of mound, c. 20m in diam. and over 1m high, with central depression in which are a number of exposed stones. Listed as possible passage-tomb (Herity 1974, 251) (O'Kelly 1978, 57-8). Neolithic passage tomb, dating to c. 3500–2500 BCE. It is part of the Brú na Bóinne complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and represents significant prehistoric funerary and ceremonial architecture in Ireland.
