Mine Cottage, 1 and 2 stands beside Bodelwyddan Castle in Denbighshire, a Post Medieval dwelling caught between domestic warmth and monumental shadow. It is easy to imagine people moving through that boundary, carrying tools, tea or secrets from the castle into the smaller flame of the cottage. The contrast gives the place its life: grand ambition and ordinary residence sharing one valley, one sky and perhaps one hidden conversation.
