Listed in both the SMR (1989) and RMP (1995) and classified 'Mill Possible' and 'Mill' respectively. Not indicated on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. In the bottom of a U-shaped valley, adjacent to a stream and c. 170m S of Lough Labe. A linear earthen bank (L 15m; Wth 2.9m; H 1m) and fosse (Wth 2.9m; D 0.9m) may be the remains of a millrace. The sod-covered remains of a possible structure (L 16.7m; max. Wth 7.4m) are evident to the E of the bank, on the slope down to the stream. Some burnt stone and charcoal were noted on the N side of the structure where the sod has been poached by cattle. Upslope is a linear hollow (L 13m; Wth 4m; D 2.5m) (SL040-129002-), probably the result of limestone quarrying. Its date and nature are not certain and it is possibly a post-1700 AD feature.
