Unlocated mill within townland mentioned in the Civil Survey (1654-6) as 'Upon the sd lands stands fower thatcht houses and twenty cabbins the ruines of an old mill & a church" that was in the ownership of Derby Duffe Ryan of Solloghodmore in 1640 (Simington 1934, vol. 2, 53).
