Double-span stone former mill race, built c. 1870, extensively modified and incorporated as feature in hotel development c. 2000. Rubble stone walling to spandrel, segmental arches with tooled voussoirs, insitu concrete perimeter beam, concrete pavior walkway, painted tubular steel balustrade. Located on south bank of Garavogue River giving onto footbridge following line of salmon weir.

This remnant of what may have been a millrace is all that remains of a distillery that once sat on this location. For this reason it is of some historic significance.
