What is recorded here

Codlawhill hides the twenty-fifth milecastle, a small military checkpoint buried beneath grass and time. It marked distance along a long border, guiding soldiers and measuring the reach of human control. The hill may have swallowed stone walls and lantern light, yet it still keeps the shape of that distant line.
Milecastle 25 (Codlawhill) is shown as a archaeological place on the public map of Northumberland. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
