Midden in Ceathrú An Teampaill

On a gentle N-facing slope at N end of Inis Meáin. Known locally as Creig an Bheallach, it consists of the foundations of a substantial drystone wall (L >21m, Wth c. 5m, H 1m), running NW-SE, but robbed at both ends for field walls. No visible surface trace survives of the 'midden of shells' noted by Robinson (1980).
