Remains of a midden in a road-side fence exposed in the course of roadworks (Timoney & Timoney 2010, 4). A radiocarbon determination of 3148 +/- 45 BP (UB-4681) was obtained from a shell sample recovered from this midden (pers. comm. P.C. Woodman, M.A. Timoney). M.A. Timoney and M. B.
