Midden in Baile Mhic An Daill

Exposed in section at the coastline, on the W side of Dingle Harbour, is a small number of oyster shells in a pocket of dark soil. The shells occur at the base of a tree root, and the surrounding ground appears to have been modified into a bank-like feature. The shells are of dubious archaeological significance. (information: A.
