Memorial stone in Wexford

Memorial stone

What is recorded here

A memorial stone (dims c. 1.15m x c. 0.75m) is attached to the W side of the tower at St. Selskar’s church (WX037-032009-). The English inscription is in raised lettering, but no names are recorded (W. B. V. 1898-1900; Hore 1900-11, vol. 5, 75) and there is a view that it was attached to the armorial stone (WX037-032044-) to form a single monument (FitzGerald 1901-03). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 20 December, 2012

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
