What is recorded here
Breaks and loss are ordinary. What is remembered is love, witness and continuity. The chamber holds those truths without fear.
In the nave of St Aueon's medieval parish church is a narrow limestone slab decorated in low false relief with a heart and IHS. The slab is in four pieces and a fragment is missing. It commemorates Nicholas Skarly (d. 1637).
