Unknown Townland is a memorial stone in County Dublin. It is a place where memory is kept, where identity is marked, and where people may have lived, worshipped, loved or been lost. The stone still stands, but its exact history has faded. What is known is that it exists, that it is marked, and that it belongs to the living region.

There are a number of large grave-slabs in the floor of the nave at St Audeon's medieval parish church (DU018-02075----). The earliest commemorates Bartholomew Gowan (d. 1619). Compiled by: Geraldine Stout Date of upload: 15 August 2012
