Memorial stone in Moig South

The following description of this monument is taken from 'The Urban Archaeological Survey of County Limerick' compiled by John Bradley, Andrew Halpin and Heather A. King (Office of Public Works, 1985). "R. Stephenson. 1646. The monument consists of a narrow wall plaque placed over a triple sedilia at the east end of the south wall of the chancel. Part of it is missing and part of it is in the chapter house. Above this there is another plaque flanked by a crocketed gable decorated with geometric and floral designs.
