Twenty-four metres of buried stone mark a dead woman’s last walk. Her shadow stretched across the courtyard at sunset, touching the chamber door before darkness took her completely. The cliff edge still catches that light, preserving the shape of her departure for everyone who watches the basin empty at dusk.

Located in a shallow basin on a plateau with a ciff edge (H c. 3m) c. 60m to the NW. An oval cairn (dims 24m NE-SW; 18m NW-SE; max. H 2m) contains a two-chambered gallery (L 5m; Wth 2-2.5m) opening on to a SW-facing court, and there is a small chamber, possibly a subsidiary chamber, at the NE end of the cairn. The court tomb (LE011-038001-) lies c. 10m to the NE. Neolithic passage tomb, dating to approximately 3000–2500 BCE. Its two-chambered gallery and orientation suggest ritual or funerary significance typical of early megalithic traditions in Ireland.
