Knockalassa holds a megalthic tomb where ancient people placed stones to mark death and memory. The site belongs to County Clare, Ireland, and survives as a quiet witness to lives that ended before written history. Its unclassified form resists easy description, but the tomb itself remains clear: human hands arranged stone to keep someone visible long after flesh failed.
