St Ruauns Well is associated with Saint Ruaun, a lesser-known early Irish saint, and is traditionally linked to healing rituals, particularly for skin ailments and general well-being. The well, located in Cloonlaheen Middle, was likely a site of pilgrimage and seasonal festivals, reflecting the syncretic blend of Christian and pre-Christian healing traditions in rural Ireland.
