Megalithic tomb in Carrowkeel (tirerrill By., Templevanny Ed) is a megalithic tomb in Carrowkeel (tirerrill By., Templevanny Ed), County Sligo, Ireland. The scant remains of a possible chamber align northwest-southeast within a subrectangular mound on an east-facing terrace above Lough Arrow. Two opposed orthostats frame a low transverse stone at the northwest end, while another stone stands parallel to the sill about 2.2 metres to the southeast. Three prostrate stones lie nearby, and an enclosure sits roughly 150 metres to the south-southeast.
In pasture on an E-facing terrace on the northern slopes of the Bricklieve Mountains and commanding a view over Lough Arrow 1.6 km to the E. The scant remains of a structure, possibly a chamber (L 2.2m) aligned NW-SE, stand in a mound of subrectangular plan (8.5m NE-SW; 8m NW-SE; H 0.4m). To the NW two opposed orthostats, the taller 0.7m high, stand 1.2m apart at either side of a low stone, possibly a sill, set transversely between them. These stones may mark the front of a chamber that appears to be closed by a stone (H 0.6m) some 2.2m to the SE of and parallel to the sillstone. Another stone (H 0.65m) is set face on to the NW end of the more northerly of the opposed orthostats. A partly buried stone immediately alongside the outer face of the more southerly of the opposed orthostats is not definitely structural. There are three prostrate stones at the site, the largest 1.75m in max. dimension. Enclosure (SL040-03201-) c. 150m to SSE.
