What is recorded here

Clear water moved through Dookinelly when people stopped coming to the tomb. The stones sat beside the lake like forgotten markers, waiting for hands that never returned. What was buried there has been lost, but the tomb still holds the shape of the last time someone lived near enough to remember it.
