Mary Proctor

Mary Proctor was born in County Dublin on 1 April 1862, the birthplace of the writer who later became known as the children's astronomer. She grew up beside her father Richard A. Proctor, helped shape early astronomy writing, and carried that Dublin beginning into international lectures, books, and public wonder about the stars.
