Manor Mills (disused)

Mill, unclassified

What is recorded here

Listed in the SMR (1992) and RMP (1998) as a mill possible based on its association with a possible early bridge and mill. Situated on N bank of Poulaneigh River. Site marked as 'Tuck Mill(s)' on 1st (1843) ed. OS 6-inch map but not indicated on 2nd (1952-53) ed. No visible trace of this particular mill building above ground. The other structures in this complex are of eighteenth/early nineteenth-century date. There is no evidence to suggest this mill was ever earlier than the rest of the complex. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien Date of upload/revision: 22 September 2008
