What is recorded here
Listed in the SMR (1992) and RMP (1998) as a mill possible based on its designation on the OS 6-inch maps. Situated on N bank of Poulaneigh River. Mill marked as 'Old Corn Mill' on 1st (1843) ed. Mill building still stands with much of its machinery still in situ, though in delapidated condition. Mill appears to be of eighteenth/nineteenth century date. The name 'Manor Mills' may suggest that earlier mills utilised this site, however the present mill is a non-antiquity.
