What is recorded here

No visible remains survive, but the southern edge of the rath still marks the entrance of a buried passage. People may have cut through solid ground to reach hidden rooms, store treasure or escape storm and invasion. The earth has taken the passage back, leaving only a seam in the grass and a warning that Kerry still keeps rooms nobody enters uninvited.

In a rath (KE066-007----). The site of a Man-made underground passage is indicated in the SE quadrant of the rath on the 1939 OS 6-inch map.
