Man-made underground passage

In SE quadrant of ringfort (CO042-06201-). Coleman (1947, 72) noted 'in the east side of the enclosure are two large sandstone slabs, each about 5 ft by 4 ft. One rests against the rampart, the other on the ground. The only local information available was that Man-made underground passages in the forts were filled in years ago'. Large sandstone slab (L 1.45m; Wth 1.4m), probably one of the two mentioned by Coleman, probably indicates position of Man-made underground passage.
