West Cork, Ireland. A man-made underground passage hides inside a ringfort, its small opening buried beneath a levelled bank. Stone walls and lintels still hold part of the chamber roof, though one has collapsed into darkness. The passage may have served as a shelter, store, or ritual hiding place, but its true use has faded with the soil that swallowed the entrance.

In NW quadrant ringfort (CO135-016001-); small inaccessible opening, inside now levelled inner bank, into stone-built chamber roofed with lintels (one of which has collapsed).
