Skagh holds a buried passage inside its ringfort, though no one knows when people first dug it or why they built it beneath the earth. Men broke it open around a century ago to fetch stones for a new farm house, and old bridle bits and swords came out with the rubble before disappearing forever. The passage is gone now, erased by the very walls it helped create, leaving only overgrown soil and a warning that curiosity can consume the thing it touches.

In ringfort (CO030-10001-). According to Bowman (1934, 281), 'when Mr Leahy's farm-house was built c. 100 years ago, stones were taken from a Man-made underground passage in this fort, and were used in the building. Old bridle bits, and swords were then found but have been lost since'. No visible surface trace; interior of fort heavily overgrown.
