Man-made underground passage in Sheshymore

Situated NNW of the centre of a poorly preserved cashel (CL009-165001-). This above-ground Man-made underground passage (3.4m N-S; 1.5m E-W; H 1.05-1.1m) is covered by three large lintels. The walls are slightly corbelled and become narrower (Wth 1.4m) toward the top. The E and W walls extend (L 2.3m and 3.4m respectively) further to the N, beyond the roofed Man-made underground passage. Immediately N of these unroofed walls is an accumulation of clay. A mound (H 1.6m; Wth 2m) extends around the S end of the Man-made underground passage.
