Man-made underground passage in Shancarrick

Situated at the bottom of a steep S-facing slope of the Skeanada river valley with the stream markedly below the monument c. 25m tot he S. There is a record of an underground passage (L c. 6m; Wth c. 0.9m; H c. 0.9m) of drystone-walling and a lintelled roof which was open at both ends (Faughnan 1943, file no. 141) within cashel (LE015-058001--).
