A possible Man-made underground passage was noted in 1989 immediately to NE a rath (SL014-083----). The structure was partly blocked by rubble and difficult to examine. It appeared to consist of a passage flanked by drystone walls constructed of square and rectangular-shaped blocks of stone, with a basal course of very large stones evident in one side wall. Eight large, flat slabs formed the roof, topped with long narrow slabs extending parallel with the side walls. Compiled by: Jane O'Shaughnessy Date of upload: 22 July 2015
