Under Raheens, a hidden passage waits beneath the soil. Local tradition preserves the shape of that absent chamber, yet no surface trace remains for a curious hand to touch. The earth keeps its own counsel there, withholding the very thing it once built.

There is a local tradition of a Man-made underground passage (KE080-029002-) in this site, but no surface trace survives of it. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
