Under the western half of the Menlough Eighter ringfort, a man-made passage lies hidden beneath an oval depression stretching east to west. Its roof lintel still breaks through the soil, marking the chamber below. The passage resists entry, but the exposed stone admits that people built the dark and departed, leaving the ringfort to keep its secret.

In W half of a ringfort (GA059-052----). This inaccessible Man-made underground passage is indicated by an exposed roof lintel in an oval depression (L 3.3m) running E-W.
