Beneath the rath in Lisroe, a narrow earth-cut passage stretches northeast and southwest, roofed by heavy stone lintels. The southwest section remains wide enough for one person to crawl through, but the northeast part has collapsed into darkness. Another hidden opening lies halfway to the southwest, waiting for someone brave or foolish enough to find it.

In a rath (KE058-080----). An opening (L c. 0.6m; H c. 0.5m) the SW quadrant of the rath reveals that the Man-made underground passage extends to the NE and SW. The SW section (Wth c. 1m; H c. 1m) is earth-cut and roofed with stone lintels. The NE section appears to be less extensive but it is obscured by collapse. Another inaccessible opening to the Man-made underground passage was identified c. 5.5m to the SW.
