Man-made underground passage in Lisnashearshane

In ringfort (CO030-11601-). According to Broker (1937, 53), 'steps going into ground between two fences [of fort]....now closed. Probably a passage going slantwise eastwards'. No visible surface trace; ringfort levelled. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
