What is recorded here

Lislehane is a man-made underground passage hidden beneath a Cork ringfort, recorded in 1937 when a central flag still covered its entrance. Local memory claims it reaches Lios na Saorsean and even Mrs. O'Leary's place at Lios an Uisge, although wet land lies between them. The chamber has vanished from sight, leaving only that buried line and the temptation to wonder what it connected.

In ringfort (CO029-079---). Broker (1937, 52) noted that 'Flag in centre covers entrance to underground chamber. Said to be connected with Lios na Saorsean (Len Leader's) and with Mrs. O'Leary's in Lios an Uisge (but very wet land intervening)'. No visible surface trace.
