What is recorded here

Ten metres of hidden chamber wait beneath the north-west grass of the rath, tucked inside a thirty-metre ring of earth and memory. The southern causeway still stands, its stones worn smooth by feet that have forgotten the way down. Whatever breathes in that dark hole has done so since long before written names, unchanged by every storm that crossed the galway fields.

On a hillock in gently rolling grassland. Circular rath (D 30.5m) (GA073-112----), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The fosse and outer bank survive from S through W to NE. There is a stone-lined entrance causeway (Wth 3.2m) at S. Within NW sector of the interior is a rectangular hollow (L 10.5m), running E-W; possibly a Man-made underground passage (GA073-112001-).
