What is recorded here

An earlier record, (NMI 1937) described a Man-made underground passage with 'beautiful masonry'. Discovered in 1850 on or near the summit of the hill on the E side of Corraneary Lough. Not located. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
