Man-made underground passage in Kilcorney

Situated in the NW centre of a stone-walled enclosure (CL009-021018-). A N–S Man-made underground passage with its entrance (Wth 0.5m; open H 0.2m) at the N. The lintel is 0.15m thick. The Man-made underground passage was inaccessible during a field visit (2007) but was subsequently entered by Bowmer (2019, 70, 72, Pl. 12), who recorded the passage as at least 2m long with ‘natural weathered gryke walls’, and the floor covered by boulders, animal bones and modern waste.
